About Jess
Dr. Jess Berentson-Shaw, author of “A Matter of Fact,” is a leading expert in effective communication for better decision-making. With a PhD in Health Psychology, she combines psychological insight and research expertise with practical experience to show how to convey crucial information for maximum impact. Her diverse career includes public health and economic policy, addressing barriers to fair policies.
In 2018, Jess co-founded The Workshop, pioneering research in narrative and framing for New Zealand, advising various sectors on communicating health, environmental, and social issues.
Now, through Berentson Shaw Advisory, she offers expert research and advice on communicating complex issues for informed decision-making.
